I have been unable to obtain a demo model of the Med-El Adhear but the directions for connecting The HearClip are identical to those below.
Slide the open S hook end through the safety line hole on the side of the Med-El Adhear. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to close the open S hook end.
RONDO (original):
Thread open filament end through a crimp bead.
Thread end of the filament through the safety line hole.
Thread the end of the filament line back through the crimp bead again. Pull filament line and move the crimp bead towards the Rondo until the two crimp beads are snugged up against each other.
Use a needle nose pliers to squeeze the crimp bead until it is totally flat.
Attach clasp to loop.
PLEASE NOTE: This is the same process you would go through using the safety line provided by Med-El.
